On All Speaking Engagements KBI's Speakers and Professional Support Staff will do the following:

In Advance Of The Session

  • Send you a pre-conference questionnaire to gather necessary information about your conference.
  • Study materials related to your organization or industry.
  • Have a telephone meeting with meeting planners, directors, executives or potential participants, well in advance of the conference/seminar or meeting to ensure we are all on target. If our schedule permits, and it is geographically possible, we will meet you in person!
  • Tailor the presentation to meet the needs of your conference /seminar or meeting participants. This includes using names, places and language familiar to the audience.
  • Arrive as early as possible to mingle and meet with planners and participants so as to put last minute touches to the session. Keep you well informed of the speaker's expected arrival times and call you on arrival, so you can sleep that night.
  • If there is a handout we provide a "master" copy.
  • Upon your request, help you develop publicity and seminar marketing materials to help promote the success of the conference / seminar or meeting.
  • Provide a diagram and checklist of the presenter's speaking needs.
  • Cooperate in every way possible to make your conference / seminar or meeting a success!

At the Session

  • Check all audio and visual equipment to ensure the best presentation possible
  • Get the audience involved at every opportunity
  • Deliver immediately usable content and keep "take-home value" in mind at all times
  • Utilize humor, audience pacing, gear shifting and visual props to maintain interest and enjoyment.
  • Avoid all offensive tones, props, and language.
  • Provide methods and systems where appropriate to help participants follow through with Action Plans.
  • Use Language and deliver materials that are targeted to your group.
  • Encourage all participants to fill out an evaluation form.

After the Session

  • Providing you want us to, we will give you a copy of all evaluations we've collected.
  • Telephone your for your feedback on the session.
  • Put you on your client mailing list and keep you informed of new seminars and new products being offered by KBI
